Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This policy explains what data PeripheralPicker ("we", "us") collects when you use this site, and how it is used and shared. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Outbound click logs. When you follow a buy link, we record the listing you clicked, your IP address, browser user-agent, and the referring page. We use this to measure which products are popular and to detect abuse; we do not use it to identify you personally.
- Local browser storage.Features like the comparison tray and the Peripheral Builder save your selections in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer — including Amazon — and its partners may place cookies on your device to attribute any resulting purchase to us. These cookies are set by those third parties under their own privacy policies, not by us. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through our links. We do not control, and are not responsible for, third-party cookies or how those companies use the data they collect.
How we share data
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that host the site and store our logs, and as required by law. Affiliate retailers receive only the information your browser sends them when you click through to their site.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can clear local storage to remove saved comparisons and builds. Doing so may affect how some features work.
